Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan’s College of Engineering founded and established in 1990 as a humble tribute to Late Padmabhushan Vasantdada Patil the former Chief Minister of Maharashtra and Governor of Rajasthan and the great founder of Vasantdada Patil Pratishthan, late Shri Manohar (Mama) Phalke, Ex M.L.C. and Labor Leader, who took over the task of accomplishing Dada’s dreams of scattering Engineering education amongst the group of people up to a common people in Maharashtra. After the death of Manohar (Mama) Phalke his beloved wife Smt. Ashalata Manohar Phalke took over the challenge of running the engineering college successfully.

The College is approved by AICTE, New Delhi and, recognized by Government of Maharashtra and affiliated to University of Mumbai to conduct degree courses in Electronics, Electronics and Telecommunications, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Marine Engineering. The four main Undergraduate Courses run by our college viz; Computer Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Telecommunication Engineering and Information Technology are accredited for 3 years with effect from March 15, 2012.
