To produce professionally accomplished graduates possessing knowledge of Electronics Engineering who can provide service to the nation.

Program Educational Objective (PEO)

  • To prepare students with strong fundamental knowledge to pursue post graduate programs in diverse fields with continued professional development so as to succeed in industry / technical profession globally, through rigorous education.

  • To provide student with an academic environment aware of excellence, leadership, ethical codes and guidelines, and the life-long learning needed for a successful professional career.

  • To train students so that they will be able to plan, design, analyze, produce, maintain and handle electronics systems, equipment and component parts with creativity also inculcate in students skills like, teamwork, communication, critical thinking.

  • To equip students with technical knowledge related modern engineering techniques, skills, and tools to address issues related to broader social context.

Program Outcomes (PO)

Engineering Graduates will be able to:

  • Engineeringknowledge:- Knowledge of mathematics and basic science, computer science, and engineering sciences, necessary to analyze and design complex electronics devices, software, and systems containing hardware and software components, as appropriate to electronics engineering.

  • Problemanalysis:- Ability to identify, formulate and solve technical problems.

  • Design/development of solutions:- Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for public health and safety, and cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

  • Conduct investigations of complex problems:- Ability to conduct investigations and solve complex problems utilizing discipline specific expertise.

  • Modern tool usage:- Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools, including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities, with an understanding of the limitations.

  • The engineer and society:- Apply reasoning informed by the contextual knowledge to assess societal, health, safety, legal and cultural issues and the consequent responsibilities relevant to the professional engineering practice.

  • Environment and sustainability:- Understand the impact of the professional engineering solutions in societal and environmental contexts, and demonstrate the knowledge of, and need for sustainable development.

  • Ethics:- Apply ethical principles and commit to professional ethics and responsibilities and norms of the engineering practice.

  • Individual and team work:- Function effectively as an individual, and as a member or leader in diverse teams, and in multidisciplinary settings.

  • Communication:- Communicate effectively on complex engineering activities with the engineering community and with t h e society at large, such as, being able to comprehend and write effective reports and design documentation, make effective presentations, and give and receive clear instructions.

  • Project management and finance:- Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of the engineering and management principles and apply these to one’s own work, as a member and leader in a team, to manage projects and in multidisciplinary environments.

  • Life-long learning:- Recognize the need for, and have the preparation and ability to engage in independent and life-long learning in the broadest context of technological change.

Program specific outcomes (PSOS)

  • An ability to design and implement complex systems in areas like networking, embedded systems, semiconductor technology Microelectronics, VLSI.

  • An ability to make use of acquired technical knowledge for qualifying in competitive examinations at various levels and to design subsystems/processes for a variety of applications for societal and environmental wellbeing.
