She works as an Assistant professor in Physics in the Department of Humanities & Basic Science  She is disciplined in her activities, dedicated towards her work and determined for the goal of betterment of not only the students but also the Institute. Being an enthusiast, she always conducts the class in a student friendly manner and helps the concepts to be affixed in the young minds forever. Her notes are in lucid language and highly appreciable. She is instrumental in initiating various Extra and Co-curricular activities at the department level and has an equal contribution to the activities at the institute level. She has been practicing the motto to serve, teach and grow for over 25 years in the institute.

 She has taught the subject Engineering Physics I, II for first year students.
