She works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Humanities and Basic Science. She has contributed herself in the teaching profession for the past 31 years. She is passionately devoted and dedicated to her work . She believes that her enthusiasm, positive attitude and hands on experience working with students at grass root level has made her an excellent educator. In this long stint of her career, she has been instrumental in fore fronting various extracurricular and co-curricular activities at both institute and department level. Her study material is easy to interpret and structured to ease exam preparation. Her moto is to prepare students for the industry by sharing her extensive domain knowledge and supporting them to excel.

She has taught the subject Engineering Chemistry I&II for first year students. Her subject interests are superconductivity, polymer chemistry and water chemistry. She has published total 4 research papers and received best paper award for the paper Qualitative and Quantitative Analysis of Water
