Mrs. Darshana Sachin Gajbhiye (Tambe) works as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Technology. She joins the institute on 21st July 2014 as an Assistant Professor and handled various academic, administrative responsibilities in the Department and Institute. Her qualification is Ph.D. (pursuing) Computer Science & Engineering, Mumbai University, Masters of Engineering in Computer Science & Engineering, Bachelors of Engineering in Information Technology and Diploma in Information Technology. She has 12 years of teaching experience. She has Received Minor Research grant of Rs.18,000/- from University of Mumbai 2016-17 for her project “Data Security using Reversible Data Hiding with Optimal Value Transfer”. She has Worked as a Senior Supervisor(SS) for various university exam at institute and department level . She has Worked as a coordinator for International conference ICIRTE, 2019 at institute level. She has taught various subjects to Undergraduate students. She has published around 15 papers in both national and international journals. She has guided around many projects to the Undergraduate Students. She has recommended some 15 students for higher studies too. She is expertise in the subjects like Data mining & Business Intelligence, Advance Data Management Technology, Cyber Security and Laws, Database Management System, Business Intelligence Lab, Data Science Lab, Computer organization, Open Source Technology and R programming. She is handling NAAC criteria 5 at Institute Level and NBA criteria 2 at department Level. Teaching is her passion and that is why it is a joyous process to learn from her. She is a confident, optimistic and self-disciplined person. She is committed to the cause and always strives for perfection. Her objective of teaching is “To secure a position as a teacher and utilize her dedication to foster quality education required for a student’s development.”
